Rosetta Stone Review

I played the Demo for the Rosetta Stone Software, and briefly used the software to learn Italian. I was impressed that it covers reading, listening and provides visual demonstrations of the word or sentence. This program has a lot to offer! I did not even know it was possible for technology to analyze pronunciation and make corrections. Also the audio clips with the voice of a Native speaker is extremely helpful! I am very interested in seeing this software used in a ESL /EFL environment, I feel it would prove to be a valuable tool.

Self-Study English Grammar Quizes
Rating:4 nods
This site is chock -full of tests and quizes for the student to challenge themselves and learn Grammar interactively. There is a variety of topics and the site overall is VERY userfriendly, nothing complicated! For the visual learning this site is very "Plain Jane" but the advantage of no graphics is it is easier to view and also easier to print out, in-case a teacher might need a quiz on the fly (wink, wink). This site could bring it up a level and actually provide some simple explanations for answers otherwise it provides exactly what it says!
